Paths
Path of the agile
Path of the agile is a path all about speed and precision. Every move counts, since you are much weaker defensively.
Path of the agile starts with the Fragile skill, which increases your movement speed at the cost of armor.
Path of the agile also starts with the Glaive weapon. The glaive is a spear with a blade instead of a single sharp point. The glaive ability will make you throw the weapon. If it hits a wall while you are nearby you will do a small dash towards it. If it doesn't hit anything within a second, it will instead return to your hand.
Stats
Agile's preferred stat is, you guessed it, agility. Agile benefits from this greatly, as the skills you will get are all based on your speed, or they might even help you gain it.
Agile's weakest stat is fortitude. Altough it might seem useful, agile doesn't benefit too much from it because of the starter skill. Since your armor is already in the negatives, it will not have that much impact in the first place.
Ability
Agile starts with the Lightshot ability. Shooting it against a wall will propel you towards it. Pulling your mouse down while getting pulled will propel you upwards as well. Moving your mouse in a circle before throwing it out will pull enemies towards you. Not doing this will just pull you towards the enemy. Pull down while pulling an enemy towards you slams them down. Moving your mouse in a V motion will make you use the string as a whip, bounding enemies.
Path of the huntsman
Path of the huntsman is all about knowing your place in space. You're not tanky enough to get close, but sometimes it might be the way to go. You are quite strong in 1v1 encounters.
Path of the huntsman starts with the Marksman skill, which will mark enemies when you hit them on their weakspot (usually the head), and will make the next shot deal extra damage.
Huntsman starts with the Pistol and blade weapon. Using the ability with the pistol equipped will concentrate all your energy, and hitting all marked enemies on their weakspot for normal weakspot damage. Using the weapon ability with the blade equipped will make you dash backwards with a single slash knocking those hit away.
Stats
Huntsman's preferred stat is conviction, as your gunshots deal a great deal of elemental damage.
Huntsman's weakest stat is strength, as you don't deal that much physical damage, and getting close is rarely the way to go about things.
Ability
Your ability will swap your weapon stance (not for all weapons). You always have a ranged single-target stance, and a wider melee stance. Switching in the middle of your attack windup will allow you to do a special attack. If your weapon cannot swap, it will instead activate the weapon ability on a separate cooldown.
Path of the Enchained
Path of the enchained is about physical power. Not only offensively, but also defensively.
Path of the enchained starts with the skill Chained, which gives you extra armor at the cost of your speed.
Path of the enchained also starts with the Chained Katana, which has its handle wrapped in chains, giving you a strong grip. This katana will chain anyone hit enough times. When you use the skill of this katana, you will stab it into the ground, and chain enemies nearby.
Stats
Enchained's preferred stat is strength and fortitude. Your chains deal mainly physical damage, and with enough fortitude you can counter the speed you lost.
Enchained's weakest stat is agility. Sacrificing your insane resilience just to move a bit faster is never worth it.
Ability
Enchained starts with the Chainlash ability. Grab any chained enemy lunging them towards you, ending with a devastating slam.
